Activity
In connection with the professional exchange program, AIESEC organizes projects on current topics called “Projects based on exchange”.
What distinguishes them from others, is the following:
o Firstly, they aim to send abroad Bulgarian students at high quality professional internship, or vice versa: to provide to a Bulgarian company professional trainee from abroad. Thus one of the main activities of AIESEC – exchange of highly qualified and potential young people, assume a large dimension in the framework of an idea or a cause that unites lots of students and companies worldwide;
o Essential for this type of projects is that they are created to contribute solving of certain social or economical problems. For this purpose, complex research is made in order to identify problems in society, then we clarify the way in which AIESEC with its activity may have a positive impact. After that the profiles of trainees who would be suitable to work on the project are specified. This provides the students purpose fullness of the internship regarding their academic preparation and their experience in working on similar problems;
o Important for the project based on exchange is organizing training events, debates, discussions, round tables, conferences, seminars, workshops. All these initiatives bring together trainees, representatives of business environment and students, members of AIESEC. They aim to attract the public attention of certain issues that is worked on during the internship. These events receive widespread media coverage and public response.
By organizing projects based on exchange, AIESEC develop its members and position itself as an organization that actively contributes to positive changes in society.
This year AIESEC Varna is developing three projects based on exchange taking place at a national level. These projects are “Meeting diversity”, “Marketing” and “IT”.
