The Local Committee at the University of Economics in Varna was established in April, 1990. For almost 20 years, it has supported the leadership skills development among the students. AIESEC Varna has won plenty of national awards for its fast development and sustainable growth. We always strive for excellence, innovations and implementation of the hot international business trends and models. We have sent interns to 3 continents in the following countries – Slovakia, Poland, Germany, the Netherlands, Greece, Hungaary, Belgium, Norway, Russia, Canada, USA, India and so on. We have accepted interns from Europe, North America and Asia.

In 2004, a very successful project called „Look Ahead” was started and has been run for already 4 years. In 2006, AIESEC Varna began to work on projects based on the exchange program related to different hot business topics. In 2008, the following projects were run – „Marketing”, „Meeting Diversity”. A year earlier, we organised projects related to entrepreneurship, human resources management, EU funds and information technologies. In July 2009, we started the first and the biggest summer exchange project of AIESEC in Bulgaria – “The Battle of The East” that has brought to Varna 8 interns from 3 continents.

AIESEC Varna has maintained closed relations with the local business, as well. Our organization has gained strong positions among the corporate sector thanks to the good work of its members in the past 20 years.

Most of the AIESEC Varna Alumni have reached the management positions in Bulgarian and foreign companies.
