Project “Youth for better Varna”

In the beginning of July AIESEC Varna started work on the project “Youth for better Varna”. The project is financed from the Municipality of Varna and it is organized with the support of “Youth activities and sport” Department. The project will continue during the next three months.

The main goal of the project is identifying the problems of young people in Varna. On this basis the participants in the project will look for decisions of the problems. They will share good case practices for resolving this problems abroad.
Besides AIESEC Varna’s team 8 volunteers from foreign countries will take part in the project. They will support the organization and create multicultural dialogue. Young volunteers are participants in AIESEC Exchange program and they are coming from Russia, China, Portugal, Brazil and Spain.

During the project we will work out questionnaires, which will be spread over the city of Varna and the closest resorts. The mail goal of the questionnaires is to define the main problems of young people. On the 14th August we will organize public discussion in “Youth house” – Varna. We are expecting to gather together over 80-90 people. This discussion will help us to reach our goal and find the solution of the problem.

During the final stage of the project we will develop some materials for generalizing collected information. We will create “Good case practices handbook”, which main goal is to present different decisions and good case practices from abroad to help changing Varna’s society for better.
